Looks to be a good chance it is an original. IF so, you are destroying value with restoration. What do you think needs restoration?
LEAVE IT ALONE-- original paint/ condition would be a lot of the value.
The name stenciled on the front (I cannot read in your photos) may be helpful in determining maker and year.

I decided to look for a similar pedal car on the web and got totally engrossed looking at all the old cars! I found one, maker Loco with the same large and small wheels as yours has. So many to look at! A great find! I hope someone finds more info on it.
This is a great piece. And just in case there is any doubt please do not restore this.
