    I bought this today and spent more than I normally would. I have not seen something like this before. Because of that I am not finding much of anything about it online either so I would love some help identifying who made it, etc.

    Anyway, it looks to be a compote or a candy dish with a crimped edge. It is 6 inches high and 6 inches across the top. Below the crimp is a band of buttons. The very bottom has a 65. mark

    There are quite a few inclusions in the glass and many bubbles as well.

      That does look like a nice piece. Looks like EAPG. There is a good chance this is from around 1900 or earlier.

      It's lovely. Does it glow under UV light. It sort of looks vaseline coloured!

      Thanks, it is vaseline glass and does glow nicely under UV. My UV light is on the fritz otherwise I would upload it glowing!

      I would love for it to be EAPG or that era, my wife lets me keep alot more when its older, haha.
      To her the older it is the more amazed she is that it survived.
