I just found this old Howard Train Bell it is 12" in Diameter and made of Brass. The Yoke and bracket is cast iron it weighs approx. 75 pounds. The bracket is marked "Howard" There is also the number "1021" marked on the bracket. The arm that the Rope would attach to is marked "1022 B H or B F" I believe that this bell also has the bracket that can be fitted for pneumatic operation. Is there any way to I.D. the railroad this was used on.
