Beautiful pottery design, love the teal color & I believe that's a ginkgo biloba leaf pattern

A nice little studio pottery lidded jar melaniej, it looks hand thrown, and the design carved out, not molded! :^D I think you're right Jenni, ginkgo biloba! I knew it I just couldn't remember the name! Thanks for posting melaniej! :^)

Hey melaniej, I found this, looks like the same signature anyway:

      https://www.amazon.com/Best-Ever-Chicken-Roaster-works/dp/B01AZSZQ28?ref=hdn_dp_car_mba_1

This is what they're doing now, yours may be an earlier piece, or not related, but I hope it helps! :^)

Newfld you taught me something today....had no clue on leaf pattern.
      Thank you ;)

Billretirecoll it is hand thrown and leaf design also craved out. Sorry I didn't add that to description.

Very pretty Melanie, I love the carved leaves against the blue, it makes the piece! Don't know anything about pottery... was it made along the lines of a cameo piece where the blue was added later and then carved down to the original tan(?)?

I sent them an email with photos and they were kind enough to reply and it's not by them. When I was researching they were the first I contacted.

Yes you are correct...blue added then leaves carved.

Beautifully made pottery Melanie. I do love gingko leaves, such a striking shape, but it's really the shape of the vessel that gets me here. That rise from the smallish base to the wide, gently rounded top is beautiful design.

      Thank you Karen
One more strike out on artist...NOT by Jarred Pheiffer. Will continue to research.
