I bought this pitcher about 25 years ago at a flea market in north Georgia. I have tried to identify the maker, but truthfully, identifying glassware is very baffling to me. Is this considered art Glass, glassware, etc. I certainly would appreciate any information anyone might have. Thank you, Linda Wilson

I love it too! Glass is fun to collect! How tall is this piece? Love the color.

Pretty pitcher, I love the orange w. yellow ball top, great colors together

The pitcher is 8” tall and 5” across.

I thought perhaps this was Amberina glass - the orange colour is right, but Amberina glass goes from yellow at the bottom, and then turns into an orange colour further up.

      See, I got it wrong.

"Amberina is the name given to a type of glass with gradient color that starts out red at the top of the piece and changes to amber at the bottom. Variations in hue range from lighter shades that look almost pastel pink and yellow to rich, deep tones of ruby red and amber."

From the article in The Spruce.

Gillian, thank you for your interest and comments. I thought the same thing as you, about it being Amberina, but it doesn't fit the profile. I am curious about it, but we all know, when you love a piece, you just simply love it, no matter it's origin. Makes me smile.
