This was my favorite find at the Flea Market on Sunday 1/28/18, a Hand Made In France, it says on the inside pocket, beaded and embroidered purse. It just has a beautiful look the way the pattern flows almost like Chintz Ware pottery. It opens with a flick of a gold metal lever clasp wide, for easy access through the gold metal framed mouth, to the inside and bottom of the (bag-look when open) purse, it has a small pocket on the inside back, for a compact, lipstick, or credit cards, and looks to be sateen lined, it has a small gold metal chain for carrying. The purse is 7 1/2" wide, by 4 1/2" high, and carries by the chain at about 8", the opened frame is 4" by 4", and is 5" side to side, and about 6" front to back on the bottom. It would be a great "Spring" purse! :^D
I don't know the maker, but looks a lot like the "Josef of France" purses on line.
