This is kinda a follow up post. I posted one of these before, but now I finally mounted them both on the wall in my basement and filled them with bottles. The windows are from an 1890's farm house. I hope to finish building shelves for the rest of my bottle collection.

TallCakes, Thanx for that link, I wanted something like that, So maybe I might have to change it. I just thought I would paint the brackets to match the wall, but that is a way better idea.
you can also make similar cleats from wood strips. It's easier to hang since you can put up the wall cleat and easily level it, and then hang the frame/box with the other half of the cleat already installed on the back side of the box.
