Picked this guy up for $12 at the Rose Bowl in December. He just had the uniform, shoulder holster and binoculars but that was plenty. The rest I outfitted from my spare parts footlockers. As he already had the marine uniform I decided to make him a battle hardened jungle fighter from Guadalcanal or some such.
Gave him a helmet to hide the bald spot, he is 45 years old so that is reasonable.. The Thompson sub machine gun is Ultimate Soldier. It comes as a kit that can make three Thompsons in any configuration in which they were made. This is the Chicago Typewriter version. Also there is a nifty .45 Colt that has a detachable magazine also. And a captured Japanese bayonet to finish the ensemble.
As can be seen pulling the dog talk would make him talk if he talked. But sadly he doesn't. I was happy with the shoulder holster as I was running low on those.
What is he supposed to say Fort?
This Rose Bowl sounds like a very good market!

The Rose Bowl is in the World's top ten flea markets.
Thank you very much McCoy Nelson. The Rose Bowl Flea Market is held at the stadium where the New Year's game is played. The big game though is the 2nd Sunday of every month when they have the flea market.

Have you been to the All American Flea Market in Tulsa? It's huge

Either there or downtown Jenks. Jenks has at least 7 antique shops and a flea market, amazing for its' small size
