    Found this at an antinque place. I bought it a little interested and out of curiosity.

    Curious if it’s real or a remake? The lock itself says ‘Aligarh’ twice on it and has the number 444 on the top side. The brand name is faded but it either says ‘Rauis’ or ‘Rajis’. I tried looking up basic information on it, and came across very little.

    Possible from what I researched (if it is real) that it’s an old prison lock? Maybe from ‘Aligarh’ which is a location in india.

    Question raised suspicion as, seems a lot of locks are being re-made based out of an India, so seeing the marking of ‘Aligarh’ made me wonder.

    Just curious is all, not upset with the purchase. Just wanting to know a bit more about it.
