Rare Sherman Fuschia Jappaned Necklace With Pink Stones Also and Pink Pendant
This necklace is quite rare and especially in these colours and with the black japanning on the back. The Japanning is in excellent condition. Was lucky to get this, and it is my first purchase of this year. It was offered earlier and did not sell because of the high price tag. I waited a couple of weeks from mid January and made an offer late Jan 2018, and got it then. It has some similarities to the last necklace that I posted.
This piece has the signature script in a square, which is the last Signature Sherman used, and the earlier was script in an oval. ...G

Thanks Eileen, the Japanned black back helped the piece along but with the partially rigid necklace I could not imagine someone wearing it terrified of a car crash and what that necklace could do to hurt someone seriously. I doubt if anyone felt safe wearing it. But a nice showpiece.
