Purchased at a garage sale, ran the serial number and its dated September 28Th, 1959. Everything was painted over so I am curious on what model it is. After stripping the paint off I found that the fenders, chain guard and frame all were matching original color. Saddle is a Brooks B33 or possibly an earlier Wright. If you have any information or knowledge about this bike it would be greatly appreciated!

It's a Schwinn B6 model. You're missing the fender light and the seat and "Lowrider" rims aren't original but it's still a very cool old bike! Congrats!! Oh, that stem bolt isn't right either...

I think your date may be wrong though... http://www.re-cycle.com/History/Schwinn/SwnB_Serial.aspx

the serial number of the bike is j934057 and according to recycle that translates to
      09/24/59 ------------------ J932349 ------------------- J935852

i believe the stem bolt is off of a Schwinn runabout, and I'm dying for someone to take those wheels off my hands
