    So excited to have found this beautiful old clock, which reminds me of a building of sorts...and it works perfectly!
    It makes a very delicate chiming sound.
    Unfortunately I have no idea of who might have made it, and when it was made. Can any of you experts help?

      Its beautiful, my family have one that looks sort of similar but less decorated and with green marble instead of red. Upon researching mine I found it to be a french marble clock circa 1870 ish- so I'd suggest googling 'French marble/mantle clocks' and see what you find. I think yours looks very similar to what I've seen doing my research.
