Whatever this is it is a rather small device. It is 7" long and about 5" wide. Also I was told it fits on some sort of vessel. A bit like the eggbeaters that fit on top of a measuring cup but a bit more specialized. There would be something specifically made to go with this. I just need to take this antique shopping with me until I find something it fits in..
The other interesting feature is the basket that takes the place of the beaters. Got a view of the bottom of it in the last photo.
I believe this is an unsolved mystery. But no longer.
It is for making mayonnaise and other such perhaps whipped cream too.

Could it be a flour-sifter thing? Cool looking little gizmo anyways about it?! :-)
It looks like it must be for some sort of whisking. Or possibly very primitive alien technology.
Very interesting item. I'm anxious to see what this does fit.

Nice! Yes it is an Androck mixer. I have gotten some for my sisters 'eggbeater' collection. I have a post of some of her collection, but that one is not pictured. Very cool!
