Here i am again with questions about another estate sale find... I got this photo only because i like old photos, i like studying people in them, thinking what it may have been like living at that time. It just caught my eye. Unfortunately, i don't know anything about sports and couldn't find much about this photo based on a bit of info it provides "1922 Champs". Are there any sports fans here who can tell me what i have? Thank you kindly!

Awesome photo Anna!! I've looked at this closely and I wish I could help you identify this team, but it's beyond my knowledge.

It is a football team (actual part of the team).

I am not sure what the "F" represents, but like today there would have been a myriad of HS, college and semi professional teams throughout the nation.

Without other clues you will be hard pressed to pin this one down. I would look at the other photos that came with it to try and determine a region or city that would help to investigate it further.

Scott, thank you, i appreciate your nice comment and efforts to help! You are the best =)

Scott(vez), thank you for stopping by and sharing your knowledge, always much appreciated! I think i'm out of luck here as the photo was found by itself without any additional context that could be helpful. Maybe it's a local team and i should ask someone locally if they remember anything about this back in the day.

Roy, buckethead, nutsabotas, fortapache- thank you!

For the time it is a very good image, it really needs more info and hope someone recognizes a similar picture they may have. I believe it looks postcard size and wonder if it is !

Thank you for stopping by, Phil. No, it's not a postcard, just a regular photo. I had the same thought as you, that the photo is in a rather good condition for its age. Maybe someone reprinted it from the original stock some years back, i'll never know i guess. Thank you for sharing your appreciation!

Newfld, Mike, Bottle-bud- many thanks for your loves!
