    Bought this at an estate sale from Robert Curtis, 3rd owner of the E.N. Sperry (Casa Del Rio) house in Ft. Lauderdale. The house was built in 1924 and I was told the rocking chair is from the 1800s.

      Anyone know anything about these types of rocking chairs?

      This was made in the twentieth century possibly 1910, which the arm style attests to. Hard to date exactly from photos.
