i posted this on the studio pottery identification page, and then i thought i identified it as by a studio pottery in Barcelona, but now i've been offered quite a bit of money for it, by two different people who suspect that it is older than i think and from North Carolina. it is a beautiful piece regardless - signed Eli. what do you all think?

Perhaps you should write to the North Carolina Pottery Center and ask them if they recognise it? It would be interesting to find out what it in fact is (or isn't).
Wonderful colors, by the way. Out of curiosity, how big is the piece?
