Hello everyone!!
Another treasure in my children's book collection. The Adventures Of Walter And The Rabbits by Milton Goldsmith. Published in 1908 by Cupples & Leon Company of New York. This 1908 edition is part of the first printing and in, what I'd call, very fine condition. The book has 32 pages and, as you can see, some beautifully drawn illustrations.
Milton Goldsmith was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1861 and died at the age of 96 in 1957. I know little else about this author. It does appear that this was the only children's book written by Mr. Goldsmith.

Thank you!! Actually, I had never heard of it either. But, when I found it, I was so intrigued by this book and had to have it. I've not seen another edition like this one. A new copy can be purchased from many book sellers though.

Thanks so very much Jenni!! The images are amazing. The book is in very nice condition, with the exception of the pages turned yellow with 110 years of aging.
