    Hello fellow collectors!!!
    Here are a few more Thornton W. Burgess children's books from my collection. These are from 1918, 1919 and 1920 and were published by Grosset & Dunlap. Though not in the best of condition, they're among some of my favorites. The pages are very yellowed and on the verge of becoming very brittle. So, these are rarely brought out of their safe place. The books are as follows:

      Such lovely illustrations! I'm assuming the dust jackets back then were real leather, do you think that contributed to their preservation after so many years

      Thanks Jenni!! Those are, of course, Harrison Cady illustrations, which I love best of all. The dust jackets did protect the books quite well, other than a bit of fading.
