Reproduction Tiffany Dragonfly lamp with detailed dragonfly mosaic base . This particular example is rich with Cobalt dragonflies complemented by jewelled Eyes and filigree metal wings overlaid on pond green art glass. The lampshade sits on three bronze arms attached above the mosaic base designed to look like dragonflies hovering around a pond .

Have never seen a base like this - not even on the venerable Antiques Roadshow. It's absolutely, utterly even, gorgeous. A very well set up photo too!

Hi Malkey , no worries at all my pleasure. I believe the base is a reproduction (albeit a very good one) of the original dragonfly lamp that was exhibited at the Paris International show in early 1900 . The shade is stunning. It is even better in person.
Hi Gillian. Thank you very much for your comment . Yes I do collect Tiffany lamps but I have nearly run out of room in my house! I have about five of them. One Lilypond shade with the cattail base , an autumn leaves shade with tree trunk base, The dragonfly lamp with matching dragonfly mosaic base , A mini dragonfly lamp (standard base not mosaic) and one that is Tiffany inspired I think it’s called nightflower? . They really bring a beautiful dimension to the country cottage (for any house for that matter) . I should point out at this stage they are all reproductions but extremely good ones.
