Hi, I don't know the origin (French? Austrian? Czech?) of this vase pair I have inherited from my great-grandmother. I can't date it either, but it should be somewhere between 1900 and the 30s. The metal overlay I presume it's silver, but I'm not sure, since it doesn't smell like silver... They are both numbered on the bottom, as it can be seen on the image, but they are not signed. Are they valuable? Thank you for helping.

      I think they are beautiful!
The overlay could be silver or pewter.
The markings would suggest Harrach .
As to value I do not know but would gladly own them!!
look to be 19100 to 1915to me .How tall are they?

Thank you ozmarty, I googled your hint and the markings look like Harrach's indeed. The vases are 26,5 centimeters (10 1/2 inches) tall.

      Hi Zebar
Just a hint , if you are tepmpted to polish the metal just use a polishing cloth and not Silvo or other abrasive .
