Melanie recently posted her pendant watch and I only recently acquired mine, so it must be time to show it.
Swiss made, branded Lucerne, anti-magnetic.
The chain is not original as I replaced the chain it came with as it was weak and broke, and it was also too short.
The lady I bought it from had about 5 to sell and I was torn for choice and ended picking this one. Two she had were engraved on the back, one for 1967 and one for 1968, so that's a good date cue.
All were Swiss but had different names, and I wonder if they all have the same works, just branded differently.
I liked the texture of this one and the orangish pink face, and the back is sorta cool too, with it's elephants.
So heads up all: Melanie and Karen are starting a new fad.
Beautiful pendant watch Karen, love the contrasting watch face color and textured goldtone frame. I had a Swiss friend who gave me one (in a straighter shape) that I treasured for yrs before (of course) losing it, not as long ago as the 60s but it was rare to see them worn. Enjoy!
I like yours more than mine...I can see the face on this one easier than mine.
That brown/copper color against the gold tone is a beautiful contrast.

Thanks Jenni! I do wear this one, and my hearing is probs worse than Melanie's so I don't get annoyed by the ticking. It keeps good time if I wind it well!
Melanie I like yours heaps because of the it's openness. It looks fast and space agey.
Thanks for telling me the face colour is copper - of course it is! I feel like a goose now calling it orangish pink lol!!

My mom has one of these and I’m now on a mission to find it.
She bought it new in the late 60’s early 70’s and I’d love to know where she purchased it but unfortunately dementia seems to have stolen that memory.
But I plan to post it when I get my hands on it.
I always thought it was cool but forgot about it till I seen this.
