This was one of my finds at the Flea Market Today 03/25/18. It's a 2 handle footed porcelain bowl that's gold encrusted/plated, and it has an etched peacock and fruit design on the inside of the bowl, and a stipple design on the exterior, and marked on the bottom "OS BORNE", or OSBORNE. I thought this was a Pickard China piece, but then saw the bottom etched mark, but most of the Osborne China that I saw on line had a cursive, not printed, etched mark.
The footed bowl is 5" high, 8"across the top of the bowl, 2 1/2"deep, 10 3/8" handle to handle, 4 1/2"across the bottom of the pedestal foot.
Here's some information on Osborne, from a Rubylane site:
Osborne T Olsen began his Artist career painting porcelain art at the young age of 18. He had an Art studio in Chicago with fellow artist, some that had worked for Pickard China and had done similar work as Pickard with the All Over Gold method. Alan Reed in Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China has this signature on bottom of set as mark #3 which was used between 1917-1940. This design is called Trailing Vine AOG which was a Pickard pattern.
Osborne was a prolific Artist and loved the All Over Gold. Sugar and Creamer are skillfully etched in the Trailing Vine pattern on outside and Smooth AOG on inside and handles of both. This beautiful set is very ornate and is of German manufacture. There are no chips cracks or repairs on set, just the normal wear of gold you would find on a set of this age. Here's a Pickard China footed bowl, that looks like the same porcelain blank used for making my Osborne China piece!

So the blanks that both companies used are the same, or Osborne used blanks made by Pickard China. Any help with this is appreciated! :^)

It's marked Osborne in cursive on the bottom! :^)
When I first saw this piece at the Flea Market I thought it was brass, because the ring that it made when I knocked it with my knuckle, was so metallic sounding, and until I saw the little bit of white of the porcelain on the bottom, was sure that it was gold over porcelain! :^)
It's extraordinary Bill! I can see the brass confusion; even the shape and handles would suit brass. A fantastic piece of porcelain.
