Sitting at my desk listening to the White Album, vinyl of course! These promo pics came with the album.
I saw them in concert at Suffolk Downs in Boston in 1966 maybe? And isn't it amazing that we still remember the words to the tunes.
    Cheers everyone!

In the whole scheme of things, there are not that many people that can say they saw the Beatles live. I saw them in Seattle in 1964. I was 12, and my mom who was a singer before she married, took my sister and I because she knew it would be important to see them.

I meant to add that they did 2 US tours. One in 1964, and one in 1966.

Hi welzebub! I imagine you are right, I guess we are in the minority few who saw them live. I was pretty young, around 13 or 14, and I remember alot of girls screaming and crying!

The Band that shook the USA when they arrived and made people scream and faint . I don't think any band has ever come close to their welcome to USA and a new sound we had not heard before . Elvis did not like all the attention Beatles were getting at the time . I remember that and when they arrived in our town on tour . Great memories .

Have seen the documentaries when they landed in the US - hysteria!

Still enjoy all their albums today and listen on my iPhone with wireless speakers. Back in 1964 they were on Ed Sullivan’s show and I still remember those few words . “ lady’s and gentlemen the Beatles “ I want to hold your hand was a big hit. The Beach Boys and Motown sound were blown away. The teenage girls went crazy. That’s what my wife tells me today. She was one of them back then.

Yeah The Beach Boys favorite song. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Beatles went away
      Haha. Happy Easter.

Love the Beach Boys too! Saw them in concert here years ago when they were no longer "boys" :) Love "Wouldn't it Be Nice"!
