    This was my grandmother's. I am 99 44/100 % sure it's a toast rack. I cannot find info on the mark (thanks anyway, Santphea!) It looks like a shield and inside are two crossed halberd axes and the letter C on one side, the letter D on the other side and the letter E on the bottom. That side of my family was Swedish and German, if that helps. If someone recognizes the mark or can point me in the right direction, that would be great! Thanks in advance for any help!

      You may find the makers mark at this site. Looks like a toast rack to me.
