This is my other Westinghouse Wind-Up Alarm.
The back of the case is marked:
    PATENTED
    JAN 29, 1907
    OCT 29, 1907
    APR 25, 1911
The dial states: CLOCK PAT. JULY 28-1914-S NO. 250624-A
This clock does not have a way to stop the alarm. The alarm set knob does not push in, or pull out, there is no push button, slide lever, like on a Westclox Big Ben, or any other mechanism to disarm the alarm. When the alarm key is fully wound and the time matches the time set on the alarm dial, a very loud bell continues to ring for 5-minutes & 33-seconds. If you can continue to sleep through that, there's not much hope for you waking up.
Thanks for checking out my alarms,
    Dave

That's a long alarm. Mine only goes about 40 seconds!

SpiritBear, I wound it up a little bit one day just to see if it would work, and it ran for about 2 minutes and no way to shut it off. So I went and got a stopwatch and wound it up all the way, and found out it would go 5 minutes & 33 seconds.

Wow, that must have been a long and loud 5 mins 33 secs. Westminster don't make quiet bells!

racer4four, When testing this alarm, I had my doors & windows opened, & I was sure my neighbors were going to come & check why my burglar alarm was going off.
