    Karenoke
    (102 items)

It’s brass, swivels in four places and is over 19” long.
And I’m thinking it’s missinf two pieces where the loops are with nothing attached.
I’ve louped it over and can find no apparent marks or stamps.
By the looks of the lady I’m thinking black americana?
That’s all I have folks, hope you can help?
    Thanks guys!

Might be a Whirlgig type of motion art.
    2. Karenoke Karenoke, 6 years ago
So in spite of myself I got the gig part right?....cool
      Thanks Caper, it’s a start.
      Appreciate the love too!

Very nice, like a Pennsylvania Dutch style weathervane
    4. Karenoke Karenoke, 6 years ago
      Thank you Newfld!
Weathervane was suggested by a friend but I can’t find anything similar.
But, always a but. I may be able to now that I have better wording to search.
      Thanks for the love too!

It's a really cool looking piece Karen! Perhaps this is only part of larger piece. Just guessing.

I found this piece under vintage metal garden art on Google.
    7. Caperkid, 6 years ago
      The site was urban Americana.com.
    8. Karenoke Karenoke, 6 years ago
Hey Scott, I suspect some parts are missing as well.
But it’s still a neat piece. Thanks for the nice comment and love too!

Thanks again Caperkid as I’m having no luck with the weathervane path.

Thanks for all loves and help, I really appreciate it!

I think Caperkid hit the nail on the head for the ID, very pretty !!

OMGosh Caperkid, I completely forgot to come back and tell you....YES!
You hit the nail on the head with your suggestion and we were correct, it’s the lower half of a yard decoration. Bet the other half went to another thrift store. Our SA uses a central location to price all item and then distribute to other locations.
      Thanks so much CaperKid!

I know this thread is a bit old and not sure if you still have the piece.
It is a Byzantine cross - hanging wall candleholder

Here is a link to another one.
      https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Brass-Byzantine-Cross-Wall-Hanging-Candle-Holder-19-in-Symbolism-/223190798660

The only thing you are missing are the 2 holders for the candles.
I just signed up just so I could answer this question.
I used to deal in antiques and items from the 20's - 60's so I know the feeling when you get something and scratch your head trying to figure out what it is.
