Here a just a few pieces I would like to give as a wedding present and I'd love to ID and date them if possible before giving them. In the third photo it shows the top and there is something etched in it. I think it's a number...43 possibly. It could be initials, I just don't know. Glass is all so pretty but it's my least favorite to deal with because I don't know the makers and it's always so hard to photograph when you don't know what you are doing. I finally do have a photo box on the way and I've also just invested in all the lighting, tripod, backgrounds etc... just need the time now to figure it all out!

I hope someone here can let me know what theses pieces are before I wrap them.

Thanks so much for your time and as soon as I get done with all the wedding jewelry etc...I'll be back to play!

    Enjoy, if anything ;)
    xoxo

Lovely crystal pieces would make a fine wedding gift - the little pitcher with diamond cut stopper is just gorgeous

this is a really lovely set! Cut glass or lead crystal is very often difficult to attribute. Most ABP is heavy cut glass that contained manganese which will fluoresce under black light, and most of it was polished. I cannot tell from photos if there is gray cut unpolished details here, which is often a sign of more recent giftware from Germany, Poland, etc. The number of the stopper was etched to match to the cruet when the stoppers were ground to fit each set; should find a matching number somewhere on the cruet. Hopefully one of our ABP folks will take a look at this.
Did see a cruet that seems to match advertised as ABP but don't know if that is correct; the maker's etch they mention is only the number to match the stopper. There are often misidentified by sellers...

Tallcakes, thank you so much. I'm so glad you were on yesterday when I happened to pop on here. I'm totally stunned by this and that price! OMG but, a wedding gift it is. I believe I have a tall cylinder vase in the same pattern. Anyway, I did read up a bit on ABP but just don't have time at the moment to continue. Capturing the beauty of this is so difficult but just to let you know, the curet weighs over 1-1/2 pounds. She's going to be thrilled when I give her an estimate on age! Thanks again. I really appreciate it ;)))))

Hey Mary!!! OMG she was just in tears! I gave her a grip of goods and it was just so much fun. You should see the outcome of her necklace, so completely different than when you saw it and so perfect AND I got my office halfway put back together haha

Karen! And here I sit...I still cannot see the top of my desk! haha OMG. But what's happened is all the findings kept breaking, kitchen sinks flooding etc etc ya know, just like everyone else's normal day! HA! I just jumped in further to this whole wedding thing and am now doing her moms dress! Nope. I don't think I could do it for a living. Next person has to hire a wedding coordinator, designer etc... It's fun but a lot of pressure. Thanks for stopping by. I really miss you!
