I have a similar rose posted, made of celluloid, but this one seems to be carved. I believe it could be bone.
The rose is slightly coloured in the centre.
I believe it is a vintage item but I don't know anything else about it.

I am glad you like, Tigra! Usually, nice items don't last even an hour in the store I got this one from. I didn't buy it right away and I was surprised when a week later nobody had taken this little beauty home. I was happy to get a second chance:)
