This is my great grandmother's "junket" or Danish Pudding Bowl. She had it out with decorative fruit in it year round but every Christmas eve it was used to hold our traditional dessert. It has signicant family value - probably not much $ value.

My aunt has it now so it will be passed down to her daughter. I would love to find out more about it and possible search for another piece like it for my home and to eventually pass own to my own daughter. Any information on it would be helpful.... thank you in advance!

I'm guessing Italian art glass, possibly Empoli case glass compote c1950-60 maybe.

Wondering about Ryd glassworks? The stem being clear and shape, the coloring of the bowl, and that fact that great Grandma's mother came from Sweden all connect maybe...

Here's what I was able to find out...
"The factory was based in the village of Ryd, Sweden, and was founded in 1918. They produced some glass designs in the 1960's/70'S similar to the likes of Alsterfors, Holmegaard etc. The company closed in 1985."
