Here are two ceramic cherub-topped dresser boxes, the smaller one with roses is 4 1-2"H, the bisque porcelain larger one with boy & girl cherubs is 5"H x 7"W. The little one was made by Ucagco, the bigger one by Ardco, both made in Japan.
Hope you enjoy this post Mrstyndall, I looked all over the place & finally found them. I think that I like cherubs because my late mom liked them, & she had one favorite cherub item I will post on her BD next month. Luv Jenni

These are so adorable. I have some head vases made by Ucagco. I may even have one or two made by Ardco. Perhaps, I should post them. Thanks for sharing these with us, Jenni!!
Lovely, dainty boxes with sweet cherubs. Makes me think of Easter and springtime.
I'm so happy you liked them MrsT, I really thought both were by Ucagco til I saw the back stamps. They are vintage (or so I was told at purchase) but probably not as antique as your gorgeous planter which probably dates ca. WW2 era

Laura they are pretty sweet looking, no? Now that I look at them they're in similar poses, little babies with their feet up, the overhead shots (as you can see, taken rather slapdash & hurriedly, often my hallmark) give them an airborne look
