Egyptian kitsch the way Val likes it! Gaudy and fun. The unused lipstick is a beautiful Vermilion - marked Nobel "Regency Trading International, LA CA USA" I found this and a bamboo shoot lipstick, which I will post later - at a thrift store here in Long Beach. I love all things Egypt, no matter how silly. I wouldn't use - instead they are displayed in a printers box with other cosmetic and sewing doo-dahs. Hope you enjoy.

Such a pretty Egyptian head, at first glance looked like a beautiful chess piece

I once visted with a book author who shared a love of Egyptomania and some of the co-authors were from The Louvre, along with my friend from the National Gallery of Canada. I was surprised to find that they collected cheap finds. I gave him a brass pharoah head ashtray after he had given me another very expensive book on Egyptomania. He would have just loved your lipstick dispenser which was one of the ways they could make a item of kitsch into something useful. Super find, Val !!~

Jenni - Yes it does, thanks for your nice comment :-)

Ken - Thanks, I wonder? Or just so gaudy that few sold?

Phil - I bet that was great meeting the experts! I think my library has that book, will check again. I love my silly collection. Your ashtray was probably nicer than all my Egyptomania!

Karen - Isn't that orange great? And for something so cheap they did a good job modelling the head.

Thomas - Weird and Wonderful? Thanks.

Thanks friends for your loves of the plastic fantastic: Judy, Roy, Kyra, Collectable59!
