Sometimes this one looks green and sometimes it looks blue. It may possibly be blue/green or pine green. Although the pine trees around here are green/green.
If I recall correctly Brookfield went out of business in 1920 which makes this insulator 100 years old and probably older.
This is an exchange insulator. Has to do with twisted pairs of wires. The typical insulator has one groove for the wires while this one has two.
This one is worth a bit more than the typical insulator although not worth a fortune.

Very nice. I just found a great informative site on all kinds of glass a couple days ago. Now...I bookmarked it and...still cant find it!!! My bookmarked pages are ridiculous. I'll get back to you when I do find it though. It's a good thing to have sitting ...somewhere!

      1921 was their last year.
I usually call them spruce green, as they often have a tinge of blue.
      Nice piece.
