Elizabeth (Heubach Kopplesdorf bisque head/composition body) and Edith (Chiltern bear) are enjoying this lovely, warm spring day with Monsieur Lapin and a new friend, an elephant on wheels (named Packy, in memory of the 54 year-old Packy who died at the Oregon Zoo last year) by Estonian artist Ljudmila Zivel. Packy came to live with us today, another animal whom I couldn't resist in the glass display case at the consignment shop. The last two photos are of Packy exploring on the deck railing. It's easy for him to navigate since he has the wheels, but he was cautioned to take care lest he fall into the grass.

Packy is an adorable new addition to a happy, contented little family enjoying a delightful Spring day! Elizabeth must feel like Alice in Wonderland, which is probably my fave Tim Burton film, all the splendid animals come to life. There was an old Tony Martin song called You Couldn't Be Cuter, which is exactly how I feel about your sweeties here Laura, great post
