Hi CW Gang:
Picked this up today for very reasonable price with the other JD piece. I think this is off something but not sure what, or the age of it, Is it off a tractor ? Of course this one is Yellow and Black and with an embossed lettering also. No makers mark on this either. Any idea of where this is from .... or Age? It is about 3.25 feet long, and about 2.25 inches wide. It reminds me of the signage on the front hood of a tractor when it might have been a sepeerate piece, but not sure.

These came in different shapes depending on the shape of the hood ( engine cover). This one was probably on a 4020 or 3020 series because of the length. The ends of this match with that series hood.
Super, as my Dad did have a JD 4020 back in the late 60's - early 1970.
As had lots of JD things on the farm....LOL...and have posted some others here !!
Good enough Rose. this would have been on the right hand side of the hood on a 4020. Now days they use decals to save money. This old trim work is quite collectable in the right forum.

...@fhrjr2 - Thank you for the lovely comments and the info on this piece. I figured off something, but to the actual model I would have been in the dark. I picked this up at a sale, but funny that my Dad did have a 4020 JD tractor. Must mean that this WAS meant to come home with me !! LOL
