These pirate looking items were manufactured by J.B. Hirsch in 1931, according to the Collectors Encyclopedia of Bookends by Louis Kuritzky and Charles De Costa. The figure of a solider brandishing a saber appeared on a lot of items from Hirsch and a clock manufactured by Whitehall-Hammond.
Picture one features my whole set thus far.
Picture two features a pipe bowl, change valet, and a alabaster lamp
Picture three features bookends, the Whitehall Hammond clock and a alabaster chest nightlight.
I have never been able to figure out if this line was meant for young boys or adult men because of the pipe bowl. They have been fun to collect and if there is another piece that exists to this line, I'll get it.
