hi thomas my jolly good friend i was there back in the day and yes treatment could be unusual i lived it and came through shinning with a sparkling pair of red kicker shoes
things have changed but not necessarily for the better nothing as strange as life and strife a person like me needs infinity

Malkey, I think we are all truly alone when it comes to pain – whatever type of pain that may be. We are all individuals and perfectly unique. But that doesn’t take away from the blessings and well-wishing we get from others. Even in the darkest corners, there is beauty, goodness and strength to be found. And there is beauty, goodness and perfect uniqueness in you. x
Malkey, I have always believed that today is the culmination of all of our days before.... and it is the gateway, and first step in the direction of things to come...... How we perceive the world is an interpretation we arrive at between our ears..... How the world effects us is also our choice.
Health, Happiness, Content, Love..... are all arrived at through thought.
I fell off a loading dock 7 years back, and it took me 2+ years to recover.... Physically I have never recovered completely as the damage was pretty catastrophic.... but mentally, I started recovery the first day in the hospital, while undergoing several major surgeries over a period of a few weeks.
I spent many months in a wheelchair, completely drugged up on Morphine and Oxycodone. My right ankle snapped both bones, my Tibia was shattered into about 100 pieces in the 10 inches just below the knee joint, My right elbow was shattered and my right hand was paralyzed. I have many plates, screws, and other metal parts in 3 joints.... I walk with a limp some days, some days not, and my right hand came back to life over time as I mentally worked on it....
Stay strong... Today is what we believe it to be, and our future is what we make of it...
My thoughts are with you and the difficulties you may face..... but you are stronger than they are...... I can see that clearly in the part of your soul you share so easily with us.....

Dear friend...I've been through the mill with health issues (autoimmune disease) & being a carer for my mother who died earlier this year...& have had struggles since a very young age with anxiety & depression...I sensed the darkness behind the days from the age of five...but without the darkness we cannot discern the light. Sensitive, innovative, interesting folks are often touched by the dark side...the creative fires within can temper it, beautiful things can soothe it (art, music, books, flowers, glass, etc), & of course, good friends who can lend a listening ear & ride along with us on the strange journey that life is.
From a queen to a king my own journey is leading me...a new path, & a difficult one at times, but ultimately a royal road to joy. Wherever that road takes you, just know we are right there with you...

Creative creature that you are Malkey I think only you could supply us with fantastic pictures to mark your travails. We are all entertained and empathetic, for many of us have hard roads too. I adore you smiling as you battle; that shows a true hero.
