Large German Oriental/Moorish Clock with Latticework and Finials, 1915-25

I don't know much about this clock other than the movement was made in Germany, the case is anyone's guess. It is a huge clock measuring 16.25" in height and length and 6.25 in depth. The movement on the clock has been serviced recently. It chimes on the hour and the half hour and runs excellently. It is a beautiful impressive piece to me. The case is in perfect condition with only a little discoloration on the top. Does anyone know what to put in the side pockets on each side of the clock tower? I bought it at the North Dallas Antique Mall here in Dallas
