Here are two Cute brooches that were in a jewelry lot that I purchased. They look very similar to old Trifari pieces, but they are not marked, so maybe they are copies?? They are missing a couple tiny stones, but still cute. Any ideas about these?
They're adorable, but not Trifari. I can tell by the pin assembly. They might be Coro, but I'm not sure.
This is a very good article, albeit long, about Jelly Belly jewelery. It also has some interesting pictures at the bottom of fake and real marks (Coro etc.).
https://www.realorrepro.com/article/Costume-Jewelry:
good pics of actual brooches by Trifari, Coro and Boucher showing differences of fake and real.
Fig. 14 (New) New 1 ½" X 2 ½" jelly belly crab marked Boucher which did not make Lucite pieces. Cost new about $60. The Trifari original can sell for $500.
They are a totally cute pair, really sweet! Nice find
Ken, thank you for verifying ;)
VERY Cute!!!!
Gillian, thanks for the info
Jenni, glad you like ;)
JScotto, appreciate it
I believe these are called "scatter pins"...
They are so small you can enjoy wearing more than one.
Maybe not Trifari but an excellent find.
Worth replacing the missing stones as the detail shows the maker
took great care in the making of these.
Ms.Crystal, thank you so much!
Hello, I just found my mother in laws Trifari Owl (Red Glass Belly, Blue Feathers), and two ballerina's 153388 and 153385 Are they worth anything. Only one stone missing on 153385 arm.
Lildealer, please post pics
I remember in years long past I would admire a woman who had a big collection of bugs when she went out in her jacket and it was a shock to see all of them together. You still see a lot of gold items which are still so striking which reminds me of your
nice collection here.
