Hi guys, I picked this up at the weekend and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is please. I also purchased some hay hooks as part of the deal so I wonder if it has something to do with farming???

To me it looks like a tool that someone made up from an old hay hook, for snagging, and sliding something! It's too small for much, maybe a torture device! :^)

I'm thinking this may be an old Blacksmith made Carpet Stretcher/Carpet Puller Tool, as shown above the fish scaler, but just my first Guess?

I found a kinda look-a-like hand stretcher patent yesterday, but did not post it, so here it is.......Have a great holiday weekend! Oh, I forgot, you are retired like me, and everyday is a holiday! Yes, that's probably it, but why buy one when you can spend all day working on one that you made yourself with pieces of junk! :^D That's what we love to do though, turn broken things into useful things, even if it means, hitting your finger, burning your hand, and cutting your leg, now you have something that you made by yourself, saved $3. and it will probably break when you try to use it, and you'll wrench your back, and be laid-up for 6 weeks trying to feel good enough to go to work, so you can make enough money so you can hire someone to come over and put your new carpet in! &:^} Yes I love being retired, and everyday is a Holiday!!! :^D

Thanks lads. I have to say that this is one of the best sites that I've ever been on.....from torture equipment to carpet stretcher in the same conversation.....who wouldn't love it.
