This was my second find at the op shop...a silky smooth Victorian satin glass vase. Made from three layers of cased glass, it shades from a golden butterscotch to white, with a diamond quilted air trap pattern. It measures 19.5 cm tall, 4 cm across the top rim, & 5.5 cm across the base, which has a polished out pontil mark.
    English or Bohemian origin.

Such a fine example of its kind with nice lines and a very pretty yellow. You are so lucky with your op shops!

Thanks also, sklo42, yes I couldn't quite believe my luck, have had so many nice finds lately & this really capped it off! I'd already picked up the bride's bank vase & went back for a second look at the shelves & this one jumped into my eager hands!
