Iconic Funk Brothers Art Deco Era wedding cake shape step vase stands 5" (13 cm) tall. The frit used to create the spatter effect on most Funk pieces I have seen are in consistently small pieces pulled up on the surface, especially on the white interior pieces, and covered with a thin clear casing. I have seen a similarly shaped Funk vase but with a flared rim that makes me wonder if this shape might have originally been fitted with metal collar. Any examples out there?
always saw these as czech- i realy like the variety of funk
