Very beautiful opera glasses, can imagine the mega rich lady in her opera box holding up this beauty & impressing all!

Beautiful opera glasses!! I have a couple of sets my self, but these are the first I've ever seen that are completely covered in mother of pearl. Very nice!!

Is it real Mother of Pearl? Assuming that the central nut is functional, I wouldn't expect it to hold up to use.
SpiritBear - Very much real MOP, purchased from a MOP museum that was closing down and featured in the Mother-of-Pearl Antiques and Collectibles book. They are still in very good condition and they are still functional.
