    Hi CW Gang:

Vintage Silvertone Brooch with Flair and a swirled end. Simple......but very eye catching. Made very nice but unfortunely it is unmarked. Any ideas from anyone?

Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

Hiya Rose!!! Hey, this is a close match to Frieheight, sorry about the spelling here) but she posted a bracelet that reminds me of this! That looks like a hematite stone from here. And at the pointed end of the pin, just on the other side of it...that's not a mark there? Sweet brooch!

@Shareurpassion - I was going to say the pattern on the top of these really reminds me of the pattern on this piece I own too. That also is unmarked, but wonder if they could be Canadian. See the lpattern on this necklace I have:

I would say they *might* be the same maker ..... ??

I would think its early 1960's about the time modernism and these type of unusual designs were prevailant. I think Sue is right about it being Hematite. It's beautiful Rose. It is simple yet very exuberant design and the silver and black is classic !~
