    I typically don't hit the thrift shops on the weekend, since I am retired and like to avoid the crowds, but tempted fate and went today. Very uncrowded but not much of interest. I did find this red Scheurich vase (7 1/4" h x 4 1/2" w) for $2.99. Seems to be a pretty common vase, but the first that I have seen.

      Thanks racer4four. The color shown in images of the bottom are the closest to the true color. Some descriptions liken it to oxblood.

      Actually, after living with this vase for a bit, I think the first photo more accurately shows the true color.
