One of my recent finds, this very well made little guy is made of copper fittings, mostly 1/2", and stands about 11" tall. The detail is excellent, from his facial features to his hands and his ax!! The base is signed " Pipe shop, 12/30/77". They even made his hat removable so I can put it on backwards if I want! If anyone has something like this I`d like to see it. Thanks for looking! Rob

What fun it would be to find out who's "pipe shop" created this too-cool little guy, and for what occasion in 1977?! I agree w/ya, he looks like he was made by somebody(s) with some serious metalworking skills! :-) :-) :-)

Thanks AnythingObscure! I found it in N.W. Pa. The date makes me believe that the maker(s) had some time on their hands, being around the holidays. Thanks again for stopping by!!
