Maderia, is new to CW, and posted a collection of Match Books. So I thought I could post a few, to maybe show some different ones! It's just another, post for fun, because, it's fun to look at them, and if you've been there, it might bring back some good memories! :^D

My parents would collect Match Books from places that they went, because they smoked, but also for a free souvenir, to remember the place by. Some of these I got from ones that my parents had collected, a few that I collected, because I learned too! :^D The rest, and largest amount, I got from Estate Sales, Garage Sales, or the Flea Market, just because! :^)

Bill, this is a great matchbook collection - I'm the same way, if we're on vacation and a hotel or restaurant has a nice logo matchbook will take it as a souvenir. Don't smoke (parents did, like yours, it was a generational habit), but love the travel memories, plus they come in handy for power failures

Hey thanks Izenglish, I just grabbed a few to show Maderia, some that I had, but I guess they haven't seen them yet!
Oh, our family normally goes to the Nor-Cal Ren-Faire on the opening day, they usually do 2 for 1, or some type of discount price. I think it would be great to meet up there, if we could work it out, it's always great fun for us! :^D

I think this is a great collection. I have a post of sugar packets I picked up at a yard sale. These type of collections are full of fun and memories.
