I believe this to be a Bernard Instone ring, if you look at the photo's looking at the back there could be the letters BI and silver but it's difficult to decipher because of the split ring. This stone is I think Chrysoprase, I have a similar ring which as a cornelian but in a closed back. Probably an early ring which you can see as been well loved with one side worn but still in nice condition, I would love to know the life history of this ring.

    Many thanks for looking

Beautiful ring, the jade-like green color is what I love about chrysoprase, and the stone looks wonderful in the silver setting

Thanks Judy, it's a shame about rubbing but at least it's been sworn and loved. I've seen an exact same ring being sold on etsy under Bernard Instone.
