I am trying to find more information about this doll. My search came out empty-handed. She is just interesting looking. Shestands little over 8" and looks like it's a sawdust or paper mix. I am not sure about the age. She looks like a souvenir doll maybe from South America. All help appreciated.

Thank you Manikin. What is the material? Is it some kind of paper and sawdust mixture? Would you have some more information?

Mistery solved, thanks Manikin. I had found this doll on eBay mentioned as early Mexican doll. No other information provided.

Composition is a combination of saw dust and glue pressed into a mold subi450 :-) Yes there would be no way to say who made her so many cottage industries in Mexico .
