Hello, folks! I recently acquired Mr. Chuckles here at an estate sale, but for the life of me, I cannot find any information on this particular toy box! I’ve exhausted every search attempt, but this guy doesn’t seem to exist anywhere on the internet. Here’s what I do know: 1) he’s a toy box made in the early days of Little Tikes, 2) this dates prior to Little Tikes changing their logo in 1975, and 3) this is when Little Tikes was still owned by an engineering firm called Rotadyne. That’s it, that’s all I know! Anyone out there who can help me?? Thanks in advance!

Hi! Yep, I see that there’s one photo out there of this toy box under a “pac man” search, but they’ve clearly colored in the eyes with black marker to make it look like Pac Man, but that’s not what this guy is. But at least we’ve found a picture of him, even though it’s not “Mr. Chuckles”! :-)

I have my Mr Chuckles from when I was a kid. I just recently recovered him and was looking in to info about him. I remembered his name but don't have a box or anything. I actually didn't know if I had named him or not, so funny to learn that he came pre-named.
I got him when I was very small, so somewhere around 1971-73.
Great find on him 'like new' in the box! Mines eyes are a little worse for wear, but otherwise he's in great condition.
If I find any more info I will share it back here. :)

Mr. Chuckles toy boy was listed in the 1972 Sears catalog on page 492. Retailed for $14.95. Loved mine, used to stick my little sister in there with the toys....great fun!
