    Hi CW Gang:

Vintage Silvertone Brooch Not my favorite mammal in life, but HEY -- he has rhinestone Red eyes and also is marked with GERRY'S on the back. Appears Gerry's jewelry is kinda collectible since they have been out of business now since 1996. So you find some - GRAB it!! I could not pass with up for .25 cents either. Cute little fart he is, I must say ... LOL

Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

    Gerry’s costume jewellery

[Quoted] """ History of Gerry’s Creations began with Geraldine Giles in 1950. As established in the peak of the popularity of costume jewelry, Gerry’s Creations have been able to stay on the market for more than 40 years. The main direction, familiar to most collectors of this brand, were Christmas brooches, many of which are included in the costume jewellery catalogs. In addition, among collectors are very popular brooches with the image of animals, birds, butterflies and flowers. Gerry’s was also famous for themed brooches, for example sport series – tennis rackets, bowling, etc., but they are particularly rare. The company ceased operations in 1996. Gerry’s costume jewellery is rare, their antique brooches are for those collectors who love and appreciate jewelry with history.""[End of quote]

Strange how real he seems even with that shiny chrome body. And I hate that word shiny which reminds me of this song :~)

Hey Rose cool! :^D I just got one almost the same at the Flea Market yesterday, red eyes and all, but marked 925 underside. I'll post it later, with a couple other animal brooches that I found too! No 25cents though, you sure beat me there! :^)
